Silicius Organic – 500ml – DietMed is a liquid food supplement with organic silicon of plant origin (extract of Bambusa arundinacea) and selected micronutrients. In addition, it includes biotin, zinc, selenium and manganese, nutrients with authorised claims in the European Union. It is intended to supplement the diet, especially when aiming to reinforce the intake of these nutrients.

What it is used for

Silicius Organic – 500ml – DietMed provides nutrients that contribute to normal physiological functions. In particular, biotin and zinc contribute to the maintenance of normal skin. Additionally, biotin, selenium and zinc contribute to the maintenance of normal hair.

Manganese and zinc contribute to the maintenance of normal bones. On the other hand, selenium and zinc contribute to the maintenance of normal nails. Likewise, manganese, selenium and zinc contribute to the protection of cells from oxidative stress. Thus, manganese also contributes to the normal formation of connective tissue, while biotin contributes to the maintenance of normal mucous membranes.

Composition or Main Characteristics

Liquid formula with standardised bamboo extract and minerals/vitamins. This allows for a simple and measured daily intake.

• Organic silicon (from Bambusa arundinacea, dry stem extract with at least 70% organic silica)
• Biotin (vitamin B7)
• Zinc (zinc gluconate)
• Selenium (sodium selenite)
• Manganese (manganese sulphate)

Composition per 15 ml: Organic silicon 10.2 mg; Biotin 50 µg (100% NRV); Manganese 2 mg (100% NRV); Selenium 55 µg (100% NRV); Zinc 10 mg (100% NRV).

Directions for use

Adults and adolescents over 12 years: take 15 ml per day, preferably before breakfast. However, it can be diluted in water or fruit juice. Therefore, follow the recommended daily dose and use a suitable measuring cup.

Contraindications: do not take in case of gastritis and gastroduodenal ulcer, as silicic salts may irritate the gastric mucosa.
