Herbalist’s Balm – Joints and Muscles – 50gr – Alphagem is a topical use balm, in a tube, formulated with plant extracts and essential oils. It is intended for local application with massage, particularly in areas associated with physical exertion. In addition, the labeling is in Portuguese and the net quantity is 50 g.

What it is used for

Herbalist’s Balm – Joints and Muscles – 50gr – Alphagem is used for localized massage on areas such as joints and muscles, before or after physical activity. In this way, it can be included in body care routines in contexts of sport or repeated exertion. On the other hand, it can be applied when a feeling of skin comfort associated with formulas containing essential oils is desired. However, this product is intended for external use and does not replace clinical assessment when persistent complaints exist.

Composition or Main Characteristics

The formula combines plant-based components and supporting cosmetic agents. Thus, it includes birch sap, vegetable oils and waxes, as well as selected botanical extracts. Additionally, it contains preservatives and components naturally present in essential oils, such as limonene and linalool.

• Extracts and essential oils: comfrey (Symphytum officinale), arnica (Arnica montana), calendula (Calendula officinalis), St. John’s wort (Hypericum perforatum), rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis), peppermint (Mentha piperita), lemon eucalyptus (Eucalyptus citriodora) and wintergreen (Gaultheria fragrantissima).
• Cosmetic base: birch sap (Betula alba juice), water, alcohol, sunflower oil, cetearyl alcohol, carnauba wax, glyceryl stearate and glycerin.
• Other components: turpentine (Turpentine), acacia gum, xanthan, lactic acid, potassium sorbate and sodium benzoate.
• Characteristics: product with ingredients from Organic Farming (as indicated by the manufacturer), suitable for vegetarians and indicated as gluten free and lactose free.

Directions for use

Apply Herbalist’s Balm – Joints and Muscles – 50gr – Alphagem to the skin, with massage, up to 3 times a day. Spread a small amount and massage until absorbed. However, do not apply to irritated or damaged skin. After application, wash your hands, especially before touching your eyes.

Important information

External use. Do not ingest. Avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes. In addition, do not use on children under 12 years of age. Do not use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Therefore, if irritation occurs, discontinue use and seek advice from a healthcare professional. In particular, people sensitive to essential oils or fragrance components should read the ingredient list before use.
