In particular, the presence of lactase may contribute to the digestion of lactose in people who have difficulty digesting it. However, lactose tolerance varies between individuals, so suitability should be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Composition or Key Features

Digestive enzymes + probiotic – 120 vegetable capsules – Osavi provides, per 1 capsule, a combination of probiotic and enzymes of microbiological and plant origin. Therefore, the formula includes:

• LactoSpore® (Heyndrickxia coagulans MTCC 5856): 2 x 10⁹ CFU per capsule
• DigeZyme® (enzyme complex): 150 mg, with lactase (4 500 ALU), alpha-amylase (3 600 DU), protease (900 PC), cellulase (165 CU) and lipase (30 FIP)
• Papain (from papaya): 150 mg (900 000 PU)
• Bromelain (from pineapple): 60 mg (150 GDU)

Additionally, the capsules are of plant origin, which may be relevant for vegetarian and vegan diets. On the other hand, the probiotic in spore form allows storage at room temperature, when the indicated conditions are respected.

Directions for use

Take 1 capsule per day, preferably before the start of one of the main meals, with a glass of water. This way, intake accompanies food consumption. In people with lactose intolerance, lactase should be consumed with each meal containing lactose, according to professional guidance.
