Collagen Type II with Hyaluronic Acid – 30 capsules – Osavi is a food supplement in hard capsules. It includes UC-II® (native, undenatured type II collagen) from chicken cartilage. In addition, it provides hyaluronic acid and rosehip (Rosa canina) extract standardised in vitamin C. The formula is intended to complement the daily diet, as part of a healthy lifestyle.

In particular, vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of bones and cartilage. Additionally, the product provides type II collagen and hyaluronic acid as components often found in supplements in this category. However, the supplement does not replace a varied diet.

Composition or Main Characteristics

Each daily serving (1 capsule) of Collagen Type II with Hyaluronic Acid – 30 capsules – Osavi provides:

• UC-II® (standardised chicken cartilage): 40 mg, of which 10 mg is total type II collagen
• Hyaluronic acid (sodium salt): 100 mg
• Rosehip extract (Rosa canina) DER 4:1: 250 mg, standardised to a minimum of 80% vitamin C
• Vitamin C: 200 mg (250% NRV)

Likewise, the capsule is of plant origin, with a hydroxypropyl methylcellulose shell. On the other hand, the presence of ingredients of animal origin may be relevant for people with dietary restrictions.

Directions for use

Take 1 capsule per day, preferably after a meal. Swallow the capsule with a glass of water. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. If you have difficulty swallowing capsules, speak to a healthcare professional about suitable alternatives.
