Bacidofilus Flora – 30 capsules – DietMed is a food supplement with lactic ferments, vitamins and minerals, as well as electrolytes (sodium and potassium). Therefore, its formulation was designed to complement the diet in situations where an additional intake of these nutrients is desired. In addition, it includes 8 selected strains, with strain identification.

What it is used for

Bacidofilus Flora – 30 capsules – DietMed is used as a supplement with lactic ferments and micronutrients. In particular, vitamin B2 (riboflavin), niacin and biotin contribute to the maintenance of normal mucous membranes. Additionally, vitamin B2, vitamin C and zinc contribute to the protection of cells from oxidative stress. On the other hand, the electrolytes are included in the composition as mineral components of the formula.

Composition or Main Characteristics

• 8 strains: Bifidobacterium bifidum LMG 25628; Lactobacillus acidophilus LMG 8151; Lactobacillus brevis LMG 27275; Lactobacillus casei LMG 6904; Lactobacillus fermentum LMG 6902; Lactobacillus plantarum LMG 26655; Lactobacillus rhamnosus LMG 25626; Saccharomyces boulardii MUCL 43341.
• Flora Mix: 8 mg per capsule (with at least 150 billion CFU/gram).
• Electrolytes: sodium chloride 250 mg and potassium chloride 150 mg per capsule.
• Vitamins and mineral: vitamin B2 0.7 mg, niacin 8 mg NE, biotin 25 µg, vitamin C 40 mg and zinc 5 mg (50% NRV per capsule).
• Formula with no sugars, no starch and no soy; in addition, it is indicated as tolerated by diabetics.

Likewise, the capsule is made of gelatin. However, the product is milk-based and may contain gluten.

Directions for use

Adults: take 1 to 3 capsules per day, preferably before meals. Therefore, it is recommended to take with 1 to 2 glasses of water. Children (3 to 12 years): take 1 capsule per day, preferably before a meal. However, adjust intake according to the guidance of a healthcare professional, where applicable.
