Green Tea Extract 60 capsules – Solgar is a food supplement based on green tea leaf extract (Camellia sinensis), presented in vegetable capsules. In addition, the formula includes a blend of antioxidants designed to help maintain the freshness of the ingredients. The product is suitable for vegans and has been formulated without sugar, salt, yeast, wheat, soy, gluten and dairy products.

What it is used for

Green Tea Extract 60 capsules – Solgar is used as a food supplement to complement the intake of compounds naturally present in green tea, particularly polyphenols, including EGCG (epigallocatechin-3-gallate). In this way, it fits into an adult supplementation routine when a standardized intake of green tea extract is desired. However, it does not replace a varied and balanced diet or a healthy lifestyle.

Composition or Main Characteristics

Each vegetable capsule of Green Tea Extract 60 capsules – Solgar provides:

• Standardized green tea leaf extract powder: 400 mg, including 200 mg of extract with 50% polyphenols and 60 mg of EGCG.
• Green tea leaf powder (Camellia sinensis): 100 mg.
• Vegetable capsule shell: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose.
• Anti-caking agent: vegetable magnesium stearate.
• Bulking agent: microcrystalline cellulose.
• Antioxidants: powder blend with beta-carotene and ascorbic acid (PhytO2X®).

Additionally, the formulation does not include preservatives, flavourings or artificial colourings. On the other hand, it is recommended to read the label, as the composition may vary depending on the batch.

Directions for use

As a food supplement for adults, take 1 vegetable capsule per day, preferably with a meal. This helps avoid taking it on an empty stomach. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose unless advised by a doctor or healthcare professional.

Important information

Do not consume a daily amount equal to or greater than 800 mg of EGCG. In addition, do not consume other products containing green tea on the same day. Not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women and children and adolescents under 18 years of age. Do not take on an empty stomach.

However, if you are taking medication or have any medical condition, consult your doctor or pharmacist beforehand. Keep out of reach of children. Store in a cool, dry place, between 15 ºC and 30 ºC, protected from light and moisture. Once opened, consume continuously according to the directions for use.
