Prenatal Gels + DHA – 90 Softgels – Now is a multivitamin and multimineral food supplement in softgels, formulated for women of childbearing age, including periods of pre-conception, pregnancy and breastfeeding. In addition, it includes DHA from fish oil and other selected nutrients. In this way, the product complements the daily intake of vitamins, minerals and essential fatty acids when needed.

What it is used for

Prenatal Gels + DHA – 90 Softgels – Now is used as nutritional support during stages with increased needs. It therefore provides folate, iron, iodine and B-complex vitamins, which are commonly relevant in the diet of pregnant women. Additionally, DHA contributes to the normal development of the brain and vision of the fetus and breastfed infant when the mother consumes at least 200 mg of DHA per day. However, this supplement does not replace a varied and balanced diet.

Composition or Main Characteristics

Each daily serving (3 softgels) provides a set of micronutrients and lipids. Therefore, it may be useful when the diet does not meet nutritional needs. In particular, it highlights:

• DHA 250 mg and EPA 90 mg from fish oil.
• Iron 27 mg, which participates in the normal formation of red blood cells and hemoglobin.
