On the other hand, folate contributes to maternal tissue growth during pregnancy.

Prenatal Multivitamin – 60 tablets – Nordic Naturals provides 22 essential nutrients per daily serving (2 tablets). Thus, it includes vitamins and minerals with a focus on bioavailability and gastrointestinal tolerability.

• Folate in the form of 5-MTHF (Quatrefolic®), with 1.275 mcg DFE per serving.
• Iron as ferrous bisglycinate chelate (Ferrochel®), 22 mg per serving.
• Vitamin D3 (2.000 IU) and vitamin K2 (MK-7).
• Choline (150 mg) and B-complex vitamins, including B6 and B12.
• Minerals in chelated forms, such as magnesium, zinc, selenium, copper and manganese.
• Gluten-free, dairy-free and soy-free, according to the manufacturer.

Likewise, the formula includes excipients such as microcrystalline cellulose and croscarmellose sodium, necessary for the dosage form.
