On the other hand, iodine contributes to the normal function of the thyroid and to the normal production of thyroid hormones, also participating in normal energy-yielding metabolism.

The formula of Metabolism 120 capsules – Ecogenetics includes plant-based ingredients and nutritional compounds. Thus, each daily dose (4 capsules) provides:

• L-carnitine tartrate (439,9 mg) and L-taurine (200 mg)
• Chinese cinnamon (Cinnamomum cassia) dry extract (300 mg)
• Garcinia cambogia dry fruit extract (250 mg)
• Momordica charantia (bitter melon) dry fruit extract (200 mg)
• Coleus forskohlii dry extract (200 mg) and Gymnema sylvestre dry extract (150 mg)
• Green tea (Camellia sinensis) dry extract (150 mg), with polyphenols and caffeine
• Milk thistle (Silybum marianum) dry extract (125 mg)
• Alpha-lipoic acid (100 mg)
• African mango (Irvingia) dry extract (100 mg) and wild yam dry extract (100 mg)
• Chromium picolinate (providing chromium 200 µg, 500% NRV) and potassium iodide (providing iodine 100 µg, 66,7% NRV)
